Weird exhaust tone all the sudden?

The last week or so, I've noticed that my TII has developed an awkward (awkward to me atleast) exhaust tone. It kind of sounds like the exhaust tone flattens out... does that make sense?
It has been getting cold outside lately (about 50 degrees or so last week) and i thought that it could be because my boost has raised 1 lb or so, but i cant imagine why being rich/lean would change the sound of the exhaust. the engine isnt detonating or anything, so i figure that nothing is bad, but has this happened to anyone else or am i just crazy?

It may be an exhaust leak. Maybe a leaky exhaust gasket or a hole in your exhaust. Try to look or feel for smoke or hot exhaust coming from the pipes where it shouldn't be coming from.

my cars exhaust tone would change whenever my crappy home made TID would loosen up and create a massive vac leak. the exhaust would just get deeper and the car seemed sluggish, revved slower. my TID was crap though(pvc doesnt like heat from turbo). i imagine since you have an actual intake that wouldnt be the problem.
