Weird code 13 : pressure regulator.

I have an S5 90 with a streetport shortblock with mushroom filter and an High flow cat.

When it's cold, below 0 celcius (32 fahrenheit), the check engine light flashes when I WOT below 3000 RPM.

After a while that the car is warm, is stops.

Changed the pressure regulator without any difference. In the FSM, they say that I should check the wires and the connections at the ECU but I'm a real noob in wires...

But if the problem changes with the temp, it should be in the engine bay ?

Broken or "loose" wires could be affected by cold temp ?

Thanks.

The Pressure Sensor and the FPR are two different items. The Pressure Sensor is a rectangular Black box w/a vacuum hose to it and it's located mounted to the passenger fender.

To check it you pull the vacuum hose and plug it, then you turn the sensor upside down to check the voltage on the Green/Yellow wire w/key to on and it should read between 2.8 to 3.2 volts as stated in the FSM. The Brown/White should also read about 5 volts w/key to on.

Thanks, but I know what the pressure regulator is, I already tried to change it... and it didn't make any difference !

Still I'll try to read the voltage... just in case the one I've try is also not fonctionning well.

But what I find most bizzare, it only happens when it's cold...

You're not understanding what I am saying for in your first post you said you had an error code 13 which is for the "Pressure Sensor" and then you said you changed the "Pressure Regulator" and these are two separate items that are unrelated and not the same thing. It would be like saying you got an error code for the TPS so you changed the AFM. Understand?
