Weird acceleration problem...
Ive got a new rebuild in right now, with about 350 miles on the clock. it seems to be running ok, but ive got a couple quirks to work out. the largest of the two concerns an odd habit encountered during acceleration. if I decelerate in gear, with my foot off the gas, and then place my foot on the gas, it wont accelerate smoothly. it will "bounce" up to its cruising RPM. its sort of hard to explain.. its just really jerky acceleration.
the timing is good, and ive tuned the TPS multiple times using the light method.
this engine doesnt have a BAC on it. could this be contributing to the problem?
