Weird AC clicking noise
So this started happening two days ago after I got my FC back from the shop. They replaced the Bearing in the front and tightened the one in the back... (still shakes pretty bad so i don't think they did something right) any way....
The AC now all of a sudden is making this clicking sound (when its on) it sounds like maybe something is loose and is hitting something else. The sound is consistent like a clock ticking almost and you can only hear it when the ac is actually on.
I defiantly do not have the money to screw around with this and I am wondering if maybe one of the guys at the shop screwed something up when I brought it in? Again I am not sure if it actually is the AC because I don't know much about cars, but it only clicks when the ac is on and it hasn't done this before.
I live in Florida so it is pretty imperative that my AC works (which it does very well right now).

Well I was gonna say the first thing I did was pull mine out cuz f that but if you need it then you you might be able to try this.... It might be the clutch on the compressor. when you look at the compressor the plate close to you on the outside is a clutch that will turn the ac on when you turn it on in the car. Sometimes those clutches when spinning can rub on the compressor. On some cars those can actually be replaced but I dont know about mazda. You could also try to look and see if you see it rubbing with the ac on. Sometimes too if they are rubbing you can pry the plate away a very tinny bit ( with the car off!!!) and see if that helps. But be careful tho because they can be destroyed very easy. I have not looked into the ac system much on the 7 cuz like I said I pulled it out but those are things to look into. Sometimes to hear a noise like ticking what you can do but be very careful is take a screw driver that has a plastic handle and you can touch the ac compressor with it and put your ear to the handle and that is an ok way to find a noise if you might think it is the ac. The noise will travel right thru the screw driver and will be able to hear it in your hear. Give that a try.
There are only two parts that move in the AC system- the compressor and the blower fan in the dash.
Turn the AC OFF and turn the fan ON...if you still hear the noise then either the fan motor is going or a leaf or something is caught in the squirrelcage.
