please leave the best ideas for weight reduction,
for a 2 person driver or a full out racer

remove everything but motor, tranny, seats, wheel, and shifter.

PS- there isn't a write up on removing all the unneeded stuff from your car

remove your carpet and the padding. it depends on how far you want to go. you can remove the passenger seat. the rear window, you can replace with lexan. the rear compartments, those come right out. you can also take the ac compressor, power steering pump and air pump off. lighter rims. and anything else that isnt neccesary.

all the interior!,and remove all the tar from the floors, get a aluminum hood if u dont have 1 allready or roll no hood??, drive around with no hatch(thats like 50 lbs),AC , ps? , anything that isnt needed for the car to run,

also if you have stock exhaust get rid of most of that, get rid of catback for sure!, having no exhaust is lighter then having a whole system! lol
