Weighed my FC today, (proof inside)
Since I am selling my current '88 GXL to buy an '86 Sport partially for weight concerns (mostly for the money though) I decided to run down to the local dump to use their vehicle scale.
The car weighed in at 2960 pounds, and minus the 200lbs even driver, the car is 2760 pounds with 3/4 tank of gas and both mufflers absent (ie, rusted off.) That's a bit higher then the 2625 that I saw listed elsewhere, and way higher then some of the numbers I see thrown around on here.
As soon as the lighter Sport gets here, it's also getting a TII swap... so all will be better soon.

Damn...seeing that makes it hard to believe that mine only weighs 2400lbs+/-...I do have one that weighs in at 2100lbs, but it doesn't count...not until I get it that weight with a motor and tranny in it...lol
