I have a 1991 Rx-7 N/A recently picked it up. I know these cars need alot of attention from what people say "welcome to the world of rotaries and infinite headaches.". I tried the search function for this topic and nothing really on topic came up. So I was wondering what things I should check for every week.

Just get in the habit of checking it over frequently...most things that cause common problems like idle issues are simple maintenance items like cracked vac lines etc. Being familiar with your engine bay will help reduce the chances of becoming overwhelmed with issues down the road since you will catch them as they arise.
