NA vs. TII Exhaust question

Just picked up a 91 RX-7 vert a couple of weeks ago and I'm looking to get a aftermarket catback exhaust. I can get a great deal on the HKS Hi-Power exhaust for the 87-91 RX-& Turbo (part# 31019-AZ001) but am not sure whether I can install the exhaust as my car is normally aspirated.

Are the aftermarket catback exhaust the same between a TII and a NA FC? I know Racing Beat has different exhausts for the TII versus NA. Any help is appreciated.

A cat back is a cat back as far as fitting

for sure if it was always meant to be a cat back. Just the cans designed for a TII will be LOUD on an NA compared to cans designed specifically for an NA.

Take it to an exhaust shop and tell them to make it work...

I was hoping that is the case as a direct bolt-on is preferred. Thanks.
