this weekend was very wierd for the fc...

like u see the subjest, it was wierd. on friday i got my s-afc installed. with that, after the installation. the car wouldnt hold a idle. so what i did was turn up the idle. but that didnt do anything. at that point i was point i was frustrated. so i just stop workin the car for friday. so then saturday i got a call from von saying he would help me out on the intake manifold porting. got started on that around 1. 4 came around and we were all done taking the intake apart, and preping it for porting, after that we stopped for that day cuz i had work. oh ya my factory alerm started tripping out b4 all the dismanteling. that dam thing wouldnt let me start my car.
sunday. i woke von up and told him to get over here and lets get this thing on the road. so he got over here a hr later we started porting things got it all back together around about 9pm. got everything ready to go for test driving. oh ya just to let you guys know, i do have a blown motor(rear). got the battary hooked up, and that dam same problem the factory alerm wouldnt let me start again so we just push started it with the light blinking and all.. we got it running took it for a test drive. opened her up . and dam what a differants that was such a big leep for being a burn motor. and also we removed the sleeves.
so for now i am not gunna drive the car til the idle is fixed and i get the car dynod so i can tune my s-afc. oh ya do any of you guys know wher e the factory alarm fuse it so i can take it out. cuz its really buggin.
also thankx a bunch VON...

Why are you modding a blown motor? I could see doing all that when the keg goes for a rebuild.. But tuning an s-afc to a blown motor? Why?

makes no sense modifying a blown motor, you have like 70 horsepower, what is 72 gonna do for you?

try locking your car with the keys instead of pushing the lock button down before getting out. that doesnt seem to set the alarm (or it sets it differently somehow). my friends FC's alarm goes off like that but he's found that stops it.
