Weak Syncro, Which Tranny Fluid?
So the third gear syncro on my 87 Base N/A is wearin pretty thin, so I was thinking of trying some new transmission fluid to prolong the ineveitable new transmission. What transmission fluid do you guys recommend that will be easy on the syncros and elongate the life of the 3rd gear syncro? I live in california and its warm almost all the time, if thats a factor in which fluid i should choose....

NEO Synthetic is known for being the best...and most expensive.
Make sure you fill the transmission on a level surface...haha (this includes the car itself being level... make sure to jack up both sides)
