WD-40 = Throttle blipping Fix?

OK this is definitely weird. The other day I sprayed some wd 40 along the throttle cable placed behind the throttle body. Anyway I wait for it to sit in a little and turn on the car and usually it will do it's high rev and and than come on back down. Anyway, afterwards it will throttle surge between 1.5 and 1 however it didn't this time? I did dump so MMO in both the gas and the oil so could that of done it? Hmmm Just checking if I am lucky or any one else has experience with it?

DON'T USE WD-40 on cars.

WD-40 has several suspension agents that are basicly solvents for teflon.

Whats inside your throttle cable?

Teflon coating/layer.

So if you got any WD-40 down the throttle cable cover, the Teflon inside may be starting to disolve. Won't break down and gum up the whole cable today, but it is now starting to do so.
