Can anyone please tell me where the sensor is????

I thought it was on the back of the water pump. That or I'm getting it confused with somethign else...

 

hey.......... thank you for reply. I don't think thats the same thing. I'm looking for the water temp thermosensor which is error code 9 for the 89 gxl s5. I am thinking it's under the alternater but not too sure. Anyway thanks again...

 

Oh, right, that thing. Forgot about that... Yeah, back of the water pump.

 

So if I take off the alternater i should see it?

 

Yeah, if it's the same as an S4 (high likelihood). You might not even have to take off the alternator.
