Water temp problem...
Well I bought an after market water temp gauge… it’s a universal mechanical gauge.. but when I install the senor it doesn’t fit probably… I screw it all the way in… but its still lose… I don’t know how to explain very well… but the screw part is in all the way… but the senor is still lose and leaks still… so I was wondering if there is something I can do to make this fit… also is there a way to keep the electric sensor as well so my fan will turn on when it is supposed to???

Are you trying to srew the mechanical sender into the stock sensor location? That won't work, you will need to tap and drill the water pump or use an adapter for the upper radiator hose. Both will also allow you to run the stock gauge.

Yes, the stock sender is a different size from the aftermarket ones.
I have a writeup on how to mount one in a location with good constant coolant flow but without having to modify any components. All you need is a tap set and about 15 bucks in parts from home depot. I have a writeup here: https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/how-cheap-easy-way-effectively-mount-aftermarket-temp-sensors-639873/
