water temp and oil temp

heres my question...

reguarding water temp and oil temp...should these two temps be similar? im asking because i have not gotten my water temp sensor fitted yet, but my oil temp works (thanks to my fc3s.org pedestal)...

how much does a 1/8 NPT tap usually cost?

water temp shouldnt go over 210 and oil temp shouldnt go over 190 since you car picking it up right after the oil cooler and b4 it goes through the motor... on my car i pick it up in the oil pan b4 the cooler and after the motor so i got to watch for 250.. anywho i probally just confuzzled you..

Water never over 210
Oil never over 190
