wat is this sensor for?

its the sensor on the coolant neck, some models have it some doesnt. wat is this sensor for? is it for ac?

Water thermo sensor IIRC has to do with fuel due to engine temps.

No I think he means on the thermostat housing itself, not the green connector you are thinking of on the back of the waterpump housing. I *think* it was in operation with the radiator pusher fan.

i believe rxmfn7 is right and iirc it only came on turbo and auto models

Ah yes I stand corrected. Yeah i've got that little bugger in my 88 GXL auto. Haven't seen any S4 TII's so i don't know about them!

Do you have a pusher fan? Do you have an Auto? Do you have a TII?

If so then keep it if it works.
