You need to vent it back into the intake if you have a stock ECU or it will be super rich for a little. Like misfires everytime you shift.

Is there a stock bypass valve (routes back into the intake) running on the RX-7 already or should I pick one up, which bypass valves are commonly used on these cars?

Turbo XS makes a Type H that allows you to reroute the Blow off back into the intake. It is good up to 30 PSI. This an option if you don't want the "woosh" sound... or you don't want to shoot flames!

Great thanks for the info, I guess no need to upgrade then if its got a bypass valve on it already. Shooting flames in CA ... In the area im living I get called a gross polluter when the car is warming up in the morning from the condensation. Thanks for the quick response.

It is the stock bypass valve with a one way check valve on it, It simply vents to the atmosphere and gives you that "cool" woosh sound!
