Wastegate Crack

While porting the wastegate openings on my OEM turbo, I noticed the hairline crack shown on the attached image. I realize the crack will continue to expand over time, but is this likely to result in a catastrophic failure of the turbo in the near term, say at the first track event of the season? Appreciate all opinions.

Don't worry about that one.

Worry about the one that is on the housing surrounding the actual turbine. The housing will heat up and the crack will protrude out and eat the turbine.

Nasty! Don't see one there on mine, but I'm gonna take another careful look around.
