well the lucky 7 belt is close to a inch wide i dont think slipping is the issue if im in stop and go traffic all day it drains my batt so low my headlights flicker

What alternator do you have. If it's the stock alternator, upgrade to a 100A FD alternator, or get a 130A Ford Taurus alternator.

its a 135 amp i found on the web it has a two year warrenty and test fine except at idle

Well I put the baby to bed for the winter thanks you all lol now we have a 89 vert for the winter lol and you all thought it was over haha the rotors never rest!
