The "Open Door Beep" started beeping strangly as well. Could the Logicon be whats causing it? A friend Suguested it. Ive never heard of a Logicon before.

Its the Climate Adjustment Box, they are expensive to replace. There is a superficial diffrence between the S4 and S5 once IIRC

ah the electrical curses of the FC3S... it may be a wire close to the frame that over time has rubbed the insulation away and you got a short, then *bump* the wire moved away from the frame and the short no longer existed. find the worn wire and re-insulate it and you problem will go away for now.

No a short such as you describe would blow the fuse. If you look at the wiring diagram, you'll see that both the things that are not working are on the 2nd igntion wire...

Pointing out that either he has a bad 2nd ignition wire connector at the steering column or that he has a switch that is starting to fail.

see (as the image shows) there are multiple wires that are powered by the ignition switch. Acc, Ignition 1, Ignition 2 and starter. Ignition 2 has the things like the heater blower and power windows/sunroof... basicly things that need to be on while the key is on, but not while cranking to start.

Its not uncommon to have the switch contacts start to fail on the Ignition 2 due to the load put through the switch, and the Off while cranking (creating a ON/OFF/ON cycle everytime the car is started.
