Warning light question

Today when I was driving my car the warning light underneith the "brake light" light lit up. A few minutes later the light went off. I dont have an owners manual so could someone please tell me what this light means.
And if someone really wants to be helpful could you tell me what could have caused it to come on.

Hi:

I am looking at FSM and I don't see any warning light under the "brake" light (see pic).
What did it look like when it lit up ?

If it is the stop light warning light (above the brake light).

See attached pic for troubleshooting the stop warning light.

If you actually meant the brake light, then you should probably top off your brake fluid. It may be on the low side.
