Warning Fake Infini, can you spot whats wrong?
If anyone is buying cars from Japanese Auction, I post this info so that you do NOT buy this car thinking it is a real Infini Ver 4.
Can you spot whats wrong with the car.
I checked the vin the auction company gave me with Mazda, and it is not an Infini ver 4 its a GT-X

i have never seen a real infini, so this is all from what ive learned on the forums
REAL
1) looks to have the tubular infini strut tower bar, not sure if theyre red like that one.
2) Infini spec factory CB radio!
3) looks to have the real Mazda pedals. Dunno if those were just a catalog item or stock on infini. I know they were avail. in japan though
4) front wheels look like the real 16" infini BBS
FAKE
1) looks to have ac? i guess it was an option, but ive never seen a real inf before
2) erm, door speakers? i know the GTUs has the super simple slim radio, id assume inf does too
3) POWER WINDOWS! that one im pretty positive about
4) i know the s4 sports didn't have bins and just had carpet. dunno about s5. im guessing that they did have bins though
5) looks to have power mirrors too, im sure inf wouldve been manual everything other than steering.

good your right about the strut tower bar. That one looks to be RE Amemiya bar ( or a greddy bar that RE Amemiya repainted and sold as their own,
but there is more in the engine bay too
Real Infini has
Power Windows but no Power Locks
Im told A/C was an option but I have yet to see one that didnt have it.
Radio was also an option most please added one.
yeah the CB cracks me up too

a very nice infini replica though, the seats, the wheel, etc etc etc.
the only two things from that car that i want on mine are the seats and no sunroof :-\

there is lots more clues
one is the windows are no brozen tint
and
the seat belt locks are to short.
in a infini the lock side is longer to reach around the better.

thats weird, when i clicked the link and looked at the thumbnail pictures it looks like the car doesnt have a sunroof. were the infinis the only ones without sunroofs kinda like the gtus here?
