Warm Stall?!

In the past two days when I tried to start my car's engine when warm (not freshly run and hot) it wouldn't 'catch' and it would stall out. I then have to crank it a few more times and hold the gas for a sec before it'll idle. Now, this is just after my "check engine" light saga with a loose AFM and an OMP code. I did dump alot of 2-Cycle oil in the gas and since the OMP is running right, I imagine there is alot of lube in my engine. I know what a flooded engine sounds/smells like and my engine isn't flooding while resting (at least I don't think so).

Anyone have any ideas? I'm going to go and pull my plugs when I get out of work and check them out. Oh, my engine's performance is the same as it's always been with more than 20+ mm of HG...so I don't *think* it's a fukkored motor. Plus, I checked my compression not long ago and it was well within spec.

My '90 does (did) the same thing. How long has it been since you changed the plugs? I notice that after a couple of miles the engine will not "catch" when I crank it and I have to floor the accelerator to make it start. A new set of plugs should cure this.
