Warlboro 255 vs Supra TT pump pic

I was suprised at how much physically bigger the Supra pump was compared to my old Warlbro 255. It apparently flows more as well (although flow is dependent on voltage).

One of the VR4/Stealth sites did some tests and graphs of the pumps in question. http://www.stealth316.com/2-fuelpumpguide.htm

Honestly, I don't know why people even run dual pump setups unless they are doing like 700+ to the wheels. My friend ran that exact Supra pump in that pic with a Kenne Belle boost-a-pump on a 600whp setup in a 3000GT.

uhh, it's not a question. It's a statement. The Supra TT pump is definately better than the Warlbro 255 for high horsepower applications.

600 on a piston motor is like a little over 400hp on a rotary...
Hitting 400hp is almost trivial.

You go duals cause hitting 500+ hp on a rotary isn't that easy.
Going with a single to flow that much fuel gets EXPENSIVE.

I can't remember how a stock pump connects at the moment, but if you look at the pic you can barely see that the warlbro has a little plug with a power and ground wire coming out of it while the Supra pump has a + and - terminal. It's also bigger and barely sits under the fuel feed hardline, so you will need a shorter piece of 5/16 fuel line. So basically, modifications are minimal, and honestly if the stock pump uses a + and - terminal modifications are practically nil. Remember that the stock pump is a denso unit and so is the Supra pump.
