Wanting a new exhaust but am too nub to know whats what

I know nothing about what they can do (other than make the car faster) adn give off a bigger noise (whether deeper bass or higher squeel)... Anyone have any advice for a smog passing exhaust that gives off a deep bass sound and can give the best performance for an 88 turbo??

Well since you have a TII you should be concerned with your fuel supply when modding it. you are not going to get too much of DEEP BASS sound out of 1.3 liter engine. I have heard Wankel7's car though and it was nice BASS but too loud for my taste. I beleive he had a bonez hiflow cat and APEXI N1's

Santiago knows my exhaust setup Sweet....

I have no idea if my car would pass smog.

I seems like a good bet might be the racing beat system.

Now this system does not have a cat. But will post big gains.

the mufflers won't change much about your smog passing capability. they don't change the chemical makeup of the exhaust. to pass smog you would need a stock running car, or well tuned, as well as working catalytic converter.

True, you need a working cat to pass the sniff test...I like a custom exhaust because its taylor made to your tastes and its CHEAPER!
