wacky idle/ poping/ jerking problem

Ok I have a rebuilt engine in my 88 n/a. I rebuilt the engine and it has just over 1000 miles on it. I oringinally had headers and a high flow cat on the car durring the break in, and the idle ideal but was fine. I had very slight jerking on decel and some normal poping. Well last week I got a new egr valve in and I replaced the egr valve, put the old exhaust manifold on and some "new" stock cats. This is all to pass the emission test. Now when I start the engine up, it idles really roughly between 700-1k and when I drive the car it starts jerking on decel and light throttle. I am looking for ideas on what to do next. I think grounding might be an issue but it is just odd how an grounding issue would have suddnely happened. I really just want to get this fixed so that I can either drive the car or sell it before I head back to school. Oh, and last night my oil pressure was climbing to 110, which was really odd. I am going to grab some cheap mechanical gauge and check that out. Awww this car is really getting under my nerves, thank god there is a river near by that I can drive this bucket of bolts into

um...I wouldn't "***-u-me" anything about oil pressure, not to be an *** but I would deffinatly check it out. There has been cases of people that installed oil filters that did this and it wasn't the gauge.

Try to adjust your TPS for the jerking problem.
