VW Forum talking about the FC

Found this on the VW forum. Some guy spotted a FC at the drag strip and took pics.

I feel dumber for reading some of the rubbish within that post.

The question is... what were you doing on the VW forum in the first place? Hmmmm.... looks like a MUTANY!

P-Port and a massive turbo. Now there's a mapping nightmare. They must have the idle set at 3000rpm! Those two tracts may split, you can't tell from the pic, it doesn't show enough, but indication would say it most likely is. The rad(s) looks as though there may be two, set laying down on each side of the lower grill inlets. Maybe I'm way off, but maybe they took a page out of the old Can Am books.

Throw some big oil-coolers on it, and fill the water passages with cement! It IS a drag-car after all.

If that engine is a PP, then it IS torqueless, but it has horsepower out the yin-yang.

I wonder if those VW guys would be bashing the "small", "rice", "torqueless", rotary engine if they knew that it was a German design?

While I personally don't recognize the car. The big decal on the hood says Shine Street, which is a shop in Carson, CA. www.shinestreet.com. They are US distributors for wheels made by Crimson Inc. (Racing Sparco wheels for example).

They frequently import parts from/to Japan. So I would expect them to be the ones who brought that car from Japan.

I could give them a call and ask about that car.

They have talked about FC's before. Generally moronic statements though. *as a whole, they are pretty ignorant*

That car is pretty nice actually. Sure got some work done to it.
