Voltage Varies when Idle/step on gas.

I got a Volt gauge in.I also have an FD alternator Swapped in and wired into the S4 N/A harness(engine).
The alternator is new,new pigtail.
Anyways,Since I have had it(like a year) the Voltage will Be around 12.5 or so at Idle,But If I tap the gas it will Go UP and stay around 14V.
I notice the Headlights will go Dim to Brighter when I touch the gas.
Any IDEAS?..(I am leaning towards Bad/Faulty Voltage regulator).Thanks Lads.STYX.

What rpm is your idle set?

Do you run an underdrive pulley?
