cuz i have a brand new alternator and a optima battery, and my voltage is still low when i turn on my lights or my electric fan comes on and i cant figure it out.

How is your wiring? Grounds? Sounds like it may have weak grounds. Have you had the alternator tested, despite the fact its new, just to be sure its putting out proper voltage at idle and cruise?
