The engine fuse in my car keeps overheating over time. The main relay and circuit opening relay are fine, but I think the voltage regulator is bad in my alternator. Anyone know where I can get my hands on one, or a rebuild kit for the alternator?

How long does it take to kill the fuse?

 

Internally regulated alternator. Just get a remanded.

 

And have you tested the output of the alternator yet?

 

It took about 4 months to happen again, it's a freshly remanned alternator, and no I haven't tested it.
