Visual Differences Between JMD & USMD TII motor

So hey my question, as the title stated. What are the visual differences between a JDM TII and a USDM TII motor. If any has any exp. with JDM TII motor (S5), and had done swap please leave your input. (Planing on a JDM TII swap and want to make it look Cal legal for ref). Thanks.

The intercooler is different. Can't think of anything else off the top of my head, right now...

The jdm has the brake boost line coming off the rear edge of the LIM instead of on the UIM. No AWS solenoid on the inside of the LIM on the jdm engine, and the jdm engine lacks a hose connection directly above the BAC valve (might have to do with AWS as well).

Note: this is all from comparing my jdm engine with the engine from my donor car, may not be true of all.

is it actually different, or does it just look different? I picked up a s5 t2 a few days ago and it has a "jdm" top mount intercooler. It looks a little smaller than the stock usdm top mount intercooler that was in my old s4 t2. I don't know...
