same goes for the clutch... he ran the xtd on his 400+fc w/ no problems, now the centerforce is something i took upon myself after doing research.... my engine builder is kinda on your side, but i got one hell of a deal, and ill put it in first, and when it goes out, ill put the xtd in

well maybe he is using a differant xtd clutch? I'm using the stage III six puck sprung clutch and i did feel it slip at high rpm's in 2nd gear. well witchever way you descide to go good luck!

RotaryEvolution 04-20-06 05:35 PM

i wouldn't use the RA springs, the only build i used RA seals in was an n/a, i don't think i would run them in a turboed engine. i prefer to stick with Atkins or OEM for serious builds now that i have more experience with different builds.

one question i have is, why 2 BOVs? i would personally heckle you if i saw you having 2 on your car.

88t2romad 04-20-06 06:03 PM

one on each side of the ic piping is my guess. Its supposed to be better...right?

jarred 04-20-06 06:21 PM

^^^ thats what i hear...

fcdrifter13 04-20-06 06:41 PM

Ive heard the same thing, but I dont always believe what I hear.

speeddemon32 04-20-06 09:17 PM

yes. sometimes when pushing real high boost, one is not enough. the second is simply a cheap insurance policy that you are going to get all the pressure out in a hury, before it has time to slow or reverse the turbo.

89gtufc3s 04-20-06 10:20 PM

ima start a stock pile like that too............when i hit the lotto

vipers 04-21-06 02:34 AM

lol... yeah, its my little insurance policy:) im gonna have one on both sides of the intercooler... hopefully if all goes well, ill be running lots of boost :) so 2 bov's is better than 1

Why would you heckle him??? Other than cost, is there a disadvantage to running 2 bov's.

Tournapart 04-21-06 11:05 AM

how much did all of that shit cost, my guess, a fortune and then some, you must have a really good job or you've been saving your whole life for this moment

Bukwild 04-21-06 11:36 AM

my budy was a tatoo artist in cali for a long while and got a great rep up there and actually had alot of his stuff published in magazines and had alot of people fly from around the country to get tats from him. His name is chris walkins, maybe you've heard of him? Anyways he does it a little on the side now but descided to go to school to be a brain sugeon, lol. Crazy smart dude.

I would happily let a good Tat artist work on my brain meats. At least I know he has a steady hand from his artwork. Another possibility is i'm just crazy.

hondahater 06-07-06 07:50 AM

it was pretty funny when he went to school cause he had long black hair with tats all over and two big ass metal spikes comming out of his dimples in his cheeks. Everyone was like are you sure your in the right class :rlaugh: it was great!

its always the REALLY smart people that look like that!!
thats what makes it so great!...if the doctors arent indian then they are white americans with long hair or some kind of tattoo filled erson with peircings(SP)

hondahater 06-07-06 10:14 AM

yeah this guy just happened to be the product of an overly strict and equally as perinoid father who is also a brain surgeon. His dad use to make him piss in a cup every week to make sure he wasn't doing drugs and it just gets worse from there. So naturally he rebeled after highschool and moved to cali with his great talent for the arts. Then after all was conquered and he showed his dad he could make it however he wanted to without the use of strict guidelines and policies he then descided those days where over (for the most part) and now he is doing great in school.

robtechfabrications 06-07-06 10:28 PM

does he still live in cali? im lookinf for a new artist :D
