Vinyl tape?
ok I'm building some custom mounts right now for my new rad and E-fan. I'm looking at the directions for my adj themostat and it says "use vinyl tape"
WTF is vinyl tape? is that the same as teflon ? like the pipe fitting stuff?

I guess I'll go looking tomorrow.
It says to use it around the upper hose neck to seal the temp sender for the thermostat. I've just got some electrical tape holding it now

Vinyl tape is the same thing as electrical tape or electrician's tape.
I recommend 3M brand #33 electrical tape if you can find it. It is temp stable to 220-240F and has great strech.
