im am not sure about the idle... i bought the engine used with 60k miles... i wasent told it was ported but it could be..the guy really dident know much about it... it has 95 psi compression so it still has some life in it... the idle is alot better than it waz a month ago...

Sounds good. I love how quiet it sounds......FIX THAT IDLE! I should have some video of my TII this weekend with the exhaust on.

The idle doesn't seem to be because of porting, at least in my opinion. Large ports that create lumpy idles have a distinct sound and rythm to them, from my experience, plus I'm sure it'd be louder from a ported exhaust and removed diffusers.
Do you still have the diffusers in the exhaust port? If you do then I'm almost positive it isn't ported. If you don't, well then it very well could be. But another thing is that if it was ported it would've been rebuilt, and at only 60k miles total in the engines life it would have much less on the rebuild and would likely be making more compression.
My .02
If it's not ported you should, it's fun!
