Let me ask you guys this. When you accelerate hard does the car resonate from the engine right through to the shifter? I swear when I first bought my TII about 4 years ago. I jumped on it and thought the car was going to grenade at about 6K or maybe a little higher. When I owned my GSL-SE that thing was just seemless all the way through the power band. I have never driven another TII so I could not say hay this is wrong maybe I have a bent drive shaft or something is throwing the balance of the engine off under heavy load.
I know this sounds lame but I am just feeling like something is not right. Let me know what you all think.

Yeah, same thing with my 90 vert...once I reach around 65k it starts to vibrate....if you put your hand on the **** you would think the transmission is going to explode or sth...

I think it's cool though, I've driven it for quite a while now and haven't had any trouble with it.

 

Mine vibrated similiar to that. I found the transmission mount was bad. Its the one that cradles the trans. You can replace just the rubber piece if its still available from Mazdatrix.

 

bump--how do you know if the driveshaft is having a problem or needs to be balanced? How much does it cost to be re-balanced?
