I'm getting abnormal vibration in my car around 5000-On on the tach- Can anyone diagnose my problem?

 

i have the same vibration. I am addredding it this week. My thoughts are bad driveshaft u-joints.

 

bad motor mounts. mine does it but in a different car i have.

u-joints would be speed related not rpm. if it happens in every gear at 5000 the problem is somewhere between the clutch and fan.

 

What do you mean between the fan and the clutch?? The engine?? the fan clutch?? I had a friend that have that problem and he has balance the drive shaft man times with no help at all. Can someone help me?? or give me some tips on where i could find the problem??

 

Mine vibrates a little around 6500rpm

 

cOME ON no one knows how to fix the vibration??

 

I would look into the fan clutch.

I put a fan clutch assy on my car from a different car once and it vibrated at high RPM. I put my old one back on and it was happy again.

Might be something else as well.
