Vibration in neutral - I'd look real close at the fan blades.

Another possibility - debris in the bottom pulley.

try this.....jackstand the car and put it in gear....spin it up to 40 MPH and shut off the motor and push in the clutch...now hear for ANYTHING rubbing/clanking/squeaking. Might help you to pinpoint it. Also try it without the clutch in with the trans in neutral. I hope this helps.

I once had a similar problem with my 90 GXL, and it turned out to be the transmission mounts. Would recommend that you check yours.

the trans mount look good and there is not to much play i ordered sum just cause it will elimenate that ..............if it was internal iam sure it would have gone boom by now ...the thing that gets me is it get better after driving for awhile ...but it is always there

update

ok guys found out what it is !!!!
turns out after days of f@#kin around i found out that the vibration is caused buy the chromolly surface in the rotor housing flaking off (high milage i guess) which would explain why the vibration get a bit better when it warms up ...the layers exspand and contract ....so i dont have much life left in this motor.... all the seals are still good so meh whatever ....figure i will build a motor up real nice for a na project s5 lighter rotating assy. 93 tt housing , street port, and better oil pump should be just fine for me anyways thanks for all ur help guys
