vibration fealing from rear
when the car has been moving for a while id say about 20 min or so when i'm stoped at a light and start to accelerate i feal a vibration and hear a grinding sound coming from the rear end, it only lasts for about 2-3 seconds then stops. the car is at about 3500-4000rpm at that point.
for the longest time i've been thinking its the differntal grinding gears, but as i think more, could it be one of the tires rubbing the wheel well?
any help greatly apprecated.

Have you checked and replaced gear oil in the diff and tranny yet???
Sounds like the wrong weight is in the Diff, or the joints on the half shafts from the diff are worn out/dry.

I've encountered the same problem with my FB. It turned out to be a bad wheel bearing. Also check your diff fluid, make sure nothing is in contact with the drive shaft. Does it drive fine other then the noise?
