Vibration! Augh!

okay.

WTF can cause vibration?

it is NOT drivetrain vibration, it MUST be engine related.

it is there ALLWAYS.

I went for a ride in an FD a few days ago and it amazed me how smooth it was.. then I remembered that these are SUPPOSSED to be that smooth.

it is a constant vibration, the engine feels kind of like a big 4cyl or something.

I think the worse case of vibration I've ever have in my S4 was caused by a bad tranny saddle mount, but there are probably a hundred things that could cause it, considering the amount of rotating parts we have on these things...

bad mounts on the engine or tranny can cause vibration as can bad u-joints in the drive line and of course bad or poorly balanced wheels.

when does your car have vibration??? On accell? On decell? or regualr driving???

ALWAYS.

in neutral while revving, too.

Motor mounts are good. I have NO idea about the tranny mount, but it felt good last time I had the transmission out.

YEP its my 10AE.

I've replaced the waterpump. And the fan. And the transmission. and about 1309 other things.

I have solid engine mounts at this time, but when I was running with stock mounts it did it too.
