i got my car a while back and with the help of the people on her is on the road and doing good.

my car is the 87 tii in sig.

i had the chance to get up to speed recently and at 110 i let off because the car started to shake. I was under the impression that they are great at high speed. So this leads me to believe that something is not right.


ok so here goes:

what should i check to solve this?

what should i upgrade to solve this?

 

First off, did the wheel shake? Or did you feel it through your seat?...

 

Tires.

 

tires and possibly alignment due to balding tires. That's what my problem is. The steering wheel shakes like crazy and the car feels unstable.

 

bushings also make a huge difference

 

also aftermarket rims that are not hub centric can cause vibration.
