Very stupid question
If I install a full exhaust system on an NA fc, will it still be safe to drive without a tune. I’ve heard from some that it ‘could’ cause detonation so I just want to make sure

No, it will be perfectly safe to drive. No tune needed.

This is only a concern on TII engines.
