very SMOOTH idle now...

Hey, just wanted to let everyone know that i just cleaned my spark plugs, replaced my old spark plug wires, with NGK ones, and grounded my coils, and WOW!! This realy made a difference with my rough idle. I dont know which one of those 'specificaly' helped the car, but im REALY happy with my car now. Idles very smooth, and the revs are SMOOTH AS HELL!

Qwk question: my old spark plug wires said "1985" on the wire. my fc was built on December '85. so where these my 'ORIGINAL' wires?

yup. they did look pretty old but almost 20 yrs old?!?!?!?!
but as for the idle, ...........smooth.........before when i reved up the engine, as soon as i would drop the rev poping noises came from the exhaust.....someone told me that was unburned fuel or something....but now, it drops it smooth.
