Vert top and car cover?

All of the Vert top replacement info I found had dead links and deleted pics. Any up to date how - to write ups on this?

Where is the best place to get a direct fit top? By best I mean cheap as ****.

But for the time being, anyone have an idea on where to get a water/rain proof car cover? The car will be sleeping outside and I live in Florida. The car will become a fish bowl if I don't cover it asap.

I think it's them and one other site that makes covers for them. I need to replace mine here soon.

I have an original one off a car that I'd sell for $250, it has one tiny pinprick hole I believe on the passenger side where it folds, dunno if there is a way one could put a reinforcement patch in those spots or not

Edit: there is a pic of the side with the hole, I can't even find it in the pic, though the top was dirty there

I used to store my car outside, a good quality outdoor car cover from big sky or california covers is worth every penny.
I had wanted to develop a half cover of sorts. It would clip into the boot snaps and some velcro straps for the wipers to cover the top and side windows to keep water out. This would be nice for leaving the car in a parking lot or when you come home late and its already raining and dont want to cover the whole car. An everyday cover.

We used Convertible Top Guys in the canvas (more expensive) and it was easy for the two of us to install (first timers). The most important tip for installing the top yourself is to use blue tape to mark the seams before removing the old top.
