Vert High beam+Security problem

So the night before i take my vert to get inspected for the year i notice my highbeams decided not to turn on. Also i hop out of the car and huh?? my security system didnt activate.

So immediatly i think CPU and notice that yup it doesnt beep when i leave the lights on, yup no you left the key in beeping, and im sure if i started it up it would not do the seatbelt chime.

No biggie bought a good CPU of a forum member who said it came out of a fine running vert he had just happend to hit a mountain with it.

Plug it in put the key in open the door..Chime!..sweet turn on the headlights act as if getting out..Chime! sweet turn on headlights flick to highbeams...FAIL...damn turn off car and lock.....FAIL no security...

So then i was like aye ok now probably relay or highbeam switch......but wait why isnt the security system working.....well as far as i can tell that leads me back to the CPU which i just put in....So im hoping someone will enlighten me on something else that cause that to fail.

Or do you guys think that in shipping or something the CPU could have gotten fucked by maybe bumping something hard and loosing its connections. I highly doubt it though it came in a bunch of bubble wrap.

Im not incredibly worried about the security system if somebody wanted in my car they would just cut the top and be done with it. But i believe i do need highbeams for inspection and that is the current goal at the moment.

So if anyone could lead me towards what this could be. I guess i just really want to know if I can be done with the CPU or is it still to suspect.

Thanks
Matt
