Vert dash speaker recommendations
Vert dash speaker recommendations
I still have the stock dash speakers in my '89 vert and want to upgrade them. Here's what's in the rest of the car now:
1) Stiil have CD head unit and factory amps. (Like the factory look and having headrest speakers.)
2) Replaced door speakers with 6.5" Infinity speakers rewired to come off of dash amps so they produce treble and mid.
3) Wired old door (bass) leads to subwoofer in trunk space.
I'd like to replace the dash dual cone speakers now with something decent. Was planning on the 4" Infinity 452i's but I think the tweeter sticks out too much too fit under the factory grills. Anyone had luck with these?
Looking for something to put in the dash which can get loud with the available power (25w?) and will sound decent with the top down.
Interested in what others have put in the dash off of the factory stereo with respectable results in volume and sound quality.
TIA.
