VeilSide wheel fitment

Hey guys,

Howsit going?

Need some advice as im not sure what im quiet looking at, i managed to find some Veilside wheels i quiet like for sale and they are going cheap. However the size of the rims cause an issue. Below is a pic of the wheel and here are the size of the wheels and offset.

Size are 18x8.5J+28(pair) and 18x8.5J+23 (pair)

I did some hunting and found some info through this link, some legend has listed it on his post. http://www.fc3spro.com/TECH/MODS/RT/rims.htm
Now according to the specs on that link do you think i should run the pair of rims that have the offset +28 on the rear and the +23 on thr front? what what tires profile and width wise would you advise i run to have confortable clearance. Also i have coilovers on the car which might help.

Cheers!

Fronts you should be ok with the 28s. You'll need to run a 215 series tire and roll your fenders though. The rears will also fit. 235 maybe 245 series tire.

It depends on tire widths and what you're willing to do to make them fit?

If you run a narrow tire (as evileagle said), you can run the 8.5", +28 up front.
If you're willing to roll the front fender lip, you can run a 245 up front.

Rears should clear either if you keep with a 245 or narrower tire.
You can run a 255 wide in the rear, but be prepared to roll the rear fender lip.

BTW, those that VS model is pretty rare.
Good job finding those things...
They are not everyone's cup of tea, but if you wanna rock them, go for it!

Oops, that should be...

If you're willing to roll the front fender lip, you can run a 245 up front with the 8.5", +23.
