VDI help
I'm going to replace the injectors on my car and want to put a series 5 intake on my car with the VDI
what all do I need and what do I need to modify to put it on
also how well do these intakes respond to porting

accually, i have heard that it will work.. just... with some modifications
it would be easier to just get the lower too. You also need the primary and secondary fuel rails and PD and all that good stuff because they dont clear and the bolt holes are separate.

I have a VDI and a non-VDI intake manifold in my garage. I compared them. To bolt the VDI middle onto the non-VDI lower, you have to move one of the bolt holes by a little over a 1/4". redrill it, or whatever. Other than that, it is pretty much a bolt on.
As far as controlling the VDI valve, you will need to have your air pump still, and RPM switch, and an extra solenoid valve.
