vdi...

Will the s5 n/a go into limp mode if the vdi isn't hooked up. I took out 5/6 port sleeves. And put a 6 port block off plate.??

No, but why would you want to do any of that? If you leave the VDI closed for good, top-end will suck. And if you leave it open for good, bottom-end will suck. Same goes for Aux. port sleeve/actuator removal.

I plan on running it. But I'm trying to troubleshoot what wrong and Jus get it to run right. It won't rev fast at all, but will creep to redline if I'm light on throttle. I've been trying to check sensors but really don't know how.

Sounds like your secondary injectors aren't working.. That's what I had with my S4 when the engine ground was corroded [the one on top of the block near the drivers/rear side under the rats nest]

Also... Undo everything you did to your 5/6th ports, and VDI... And leave the airpump on so the 5/6th work.

This is a s4 block with every s5 piece put on. No emmision. I checked those to harness grounds. Both r good. Afm only open so far when I rev throttle. Never tries to open all the way. Shouldn't it open all the way at wot even if the engine doesn't rev past 4k?

The AFM cone isn't going to isn't going to move much if you're just free-revving. The amount it moves determines how much fuel the ECU will deliver, so you'll need load on the engine to see a lot of movement.

If this is an S5 car with an S4 block, pull codes: http://www.johnr.com/cpucodes.html.

With the secondary injectors doing nothing at all, there should be enough fuel from the primaries to reach about 5000 RPM. It'll lean out eventually and choke. You should test voltage at the injector pins at the ECU. It should look like +12V constant with a multimeter, but you can also use an LED to see if they're pulsing (flashing LED). The FSM also has a test that involves disconnecting the boost sensor line & revving the engine.
