VDI and 6th port help

VDI and 6th port help
Will taking off my air pump effect my performance. Also if I do take it off how has everyone else wired open there 5th and 6th port. please help I'm a not a newby to rotaries but I'm no Ted!

are you still running cats? if your answer is yes...you will ruin your cats in a short period of time by taking it off.

First off, keep the 6-ports & VDI working if you can. Wiring them open costs you low end torque. Unless you are racing all the time, that's a big deal. It's nice to be able to make at 60mph uphill pass without having to drop to 3rd and make a fuss (as my wife would say). Of course when she is not along, I go to 3rd

The couple of lbs lighter and HP that you would gain from removing the airpump would not offset the low end loss of torque that you would also gain
