oh, almost forgot people put these manifolds onto SEs, sounds fun
2 things i would like to add:
1) a certain amount of load/throttle (about half of max) is needed, i have found, for the stock ECU to activate the 6pi and VDI. this makes total sense, since you will get better response on low throttle/low load and on decel if the 6pi is closed and VDI is on the shorter runners.
2) on your SE, and depending on what mods you have, those stock S5 NA points may not be the best. it is a really simple matter to find the PERFECT point, however you need to go to the dyno.
all you have to do is get a full-load dyno run with the 6pi closed, and another dyno run with the 6pi open. the RPM at which the 2 graphs intersect is the point that you pick the solenoid to activate. something i learned from how VTEC is tuned on Hondas, lol.
oh, and keep the VDI closed when doing the 6pi testing, and keep the 6pi open when doing the VDI testing...
