various electrical questions

I'm on the verge of having a running FC in my possession once again, but I have a few questions:

1. I managed to lose the female connector that was the end of the water temperature sensor wire. I've looked through the FSM, and I've bought various female connectors in hopes that they would slide on but I've had no luck. Besides buying someones old wiring harness, do I have any other options? There really aren't that many sizes for female connectors of that nature and I believe I've tried them all....

2. In an attempt to make my starter ground longer, I managed to rip clean the ground wire from the small block end of the ground. Is it vital that I use the block, or can I make another ground hook from generic electrical/grounding pieces.

3. I currently have the e-manage, and 2 greddy guages getting power from the 12volt ignition source that goes into the ECU. I still need someplace to supply power for my old EVC. Is it ok to splice into the same ignition switched power source that I already have 2 applications drawing power from? If not, what else can I do.

I'm a ME major, nuts to electricity
